EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!

There are few sights more bloodcurdling than the liberal pack in full cry. The viciousness of the attacks on Sarah Palin is a testimony to the degree of panic her appointment has generated in Leftist circles.

True enough.  Within moments of the announcement of the vice-presidential running mate, Leftists went totally bonkers.  There were the usual slams from the expected sources, but the surprise in the local area was Jack Bogdanski's leap from his generally respected perspective into the cauldron of bubbling spittle.  Few would have expected the sudden transformation from independent thinker into group-mindset, but that's exactly what happened.  His site suddenly became this:

That's just plain spooky.  Dang.  Is it time to turn the night-light back on and sleep with a .45 under the pillow?

Well, hey. That's a bit harsh. I prefer to think of things this way: people, being human, make mistakes. I think he made one in going with the stuff on Palin. And I suspect that he realized it and decided to rachet back into the areas he's best at discussing; namely, Portland issues.

It should be obvious, but let me put a finer point to it: he excels at bringing out Portland Porkbarelling; on national politics, he's not as up-to-speed as some folks. He's by no means a stupid guy; I suspect he's just returning to the heart and soul of what he does best: nailing the Portland/Multco/Metro silliness.

And in that area, I've seen no equal.

When wrong you apologize, you do not hide. Bogdanski his hiding from the vicious rumors he perpetuated and attacks he lead last week against Sarah Palin.

I will apologize to John McCain as soon as tomorrow. I am never ashamed to admit when I've been wrong.

Jack Bogdanski is a cowardly elitist snob who thinks that because his blog garners thousands of hits per day he is immune from taking criticism.

Max, I respect your opinion but under no circumstances will I grant Jack Bog any slack for his rumor mongering bullshit against Sarah, until he apologizes!

Bogdanski was wrong and he should apologize or face the scorn he has brought upon himself.

I am not the only one who feels this way, you need only read a post from yesterday at NWR by its founder...
