The government's still flogging this dead horse, apparently:
Indirectly it could be considered a cheeseburger tax, but one of the suggestions offered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in its Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) for regulating greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act is to levy a tax on livestock.
The idea, of course, was to help Save The Planet From Global Warming! At least, that's how it has been presented. In actuality, it's just another way for government to dig into your wallet - and once they've identified a potential source of income, they aren't about to let it go.
Never mind that it appears there's really no need to Shave The Polar Bears!
Rapid growth spurt leaves amount of ice at levels seen 29 years ago. In fact, the rate of increase from September onward is the fastest rate of change on record, either upwards or downwards.
The fact that there's more polar sea ice today than at any time since 1979 simply underlines the need for government intervention and strong action on their part to steal more of your money work to Save The Planet.
