We in America have grown such a special little patch of vegetables. It's amazing. One of my co-workers applied for a promotion, and spent several days strutting around telling everybody that he had the job nailed.
He didn't get it. And how did he react? Why, he was so upset that he had to leave work and go home a couple of hours after receiving the news. This guy's about 41 years old, but he can't handle a setback. No, he has to go home, because he's so upset.
If this is the mindset that will take over our country, it's time to move. Or to move for secession. I don't want to live in a country that's run by such sensitive 30 to 40 - somethings. In fact, I have a message for them:
Get Over It. Little hypersensitive idiots....
perhaps his immature emotional condition was part of the reason he didn't get the promotion.
However, immature over reactionary self centered narcissism pretty much defines the current group of "leaders" we have today.

Narcissism pretty much describes it, BK. It seems that the measure of the caliber of the guy was demonstrated: when he didn't get what he wanted, he took his marbles and went home. Poor baby. Yet I see a lot of this in the 30-40 age group.
