Despite reports indicating that he's been shot (as appears to be the case) and may be dead (according to a Pierce County Sheriff spokeman - and definitely not the case), Maurice Clemmons remains on the loose at this writing, having successfully eluded law enforcement since allegedly fatally shooting four Seattle cops yesterday morning. Police have been combing through UW and nearby parks in an effort to locate him, and within the last hour a warrant has been issued in connection with the murders, specifying that bail is not to be granted. Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is reportedly involved, by virtue of his having pardoned the violent convict a decade ago.
In addition to the manhunt for Clemmons, police are attempting to locate his wife. She is believed to be physically okay, but possibly heading back to Arkansas.
