First new car off the blocks in the new government-run motor industry:
Chevrolet Consensus, a ``green'' car featuring a compressed-soybean chassis, the world's first engine powered entirely by dew, and a 14,500-page owner's manual, accompanied by nearly 6,000 pages of amendments.
The manual and other documents are still being written, but Harry Reid insists that once Americans get a peek under the hood, they're going to love what they see.

Reverse order: Chris, good catch! I had that article in the lineup, but ran out of time - this thing doesn't exactly pay the bills, so I have work. You've posted the link, so I can just wipe that off the list. Good comment as well, as that's exactly what's happening.
Our local science writer hasn't brought up man-made global warming in (what for him amounts to) eons. He's now reduced to trotting into blogs in order to defend unions. It's interesting to watch.
OG, no. Didn't see it, but I don't follow the industry much (and we've been diggin' out of a whole lot of global warming here).

A green muscle car? Sounds too good to be true. But hey, if it works, then that's awesome! Imagine driving a classic American vehicle without the guilt of poisoning the air. That would be so nice.
