Despite the media and the protestations from the political class, Gallup, Zogby, and other polls indicate overwhelming popular support for Arizona's stance on illegal aliens. Zogby reports that nearly 80% of Americans do not agree that illegal aliens are entitled to the same rights and freedoms as U.S. Citizens.
Tellingly, many legal Hispanics support the new law. If wanting immigrants to enter the country legally, like her great-grandparents from Mexico, and obey the laws of the land makes her racist, then so be it, she says firmly.
