Ohio Dem Sen. Sherrod Brown is looking at a tough reelection run next year, and so he wrote to President Obama Monday calling for a review of the “economic repercussions and potential unintended consequences” of regulations the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has begun to phase in this year.
Although just last year he voted against Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s (R-Alaska) effort to rein in the EPA, it appears to have suddenly occurred to him that their regulations may adversely affect businesses in Ohio - which in turn may adversely affect his his prospects for reelection. Suddenly, he wants a "review" - which ideally would stall implementation until after the election.
Even the best automobiles have nothing compared to Democrats, who literally can turn on a dime.
