About that quote above: sounds good to me.
Let's test the theory: see if there are any 4th of July celebrations in Massachusetts, or in Berkeley.
Also, if the brilliant Harvard solons are right, maybe we ought to move Election day to the Tuesday after July 4.

Actually, an interesting test of their "report" would be exactly as you suggest - shifting election day.
