As many already know, Oregon is like a bed and breakfast for union bosses. Although only 9% of private sector employees are forced to work under union dominance, 52% of public-sector workers have to pay "dues". Small wonder that state and local governments are broke; the private sector figured out long ago that unionization is essentially parasitic, and it seems obvious that the time has come for the state to become a "Right to work" state, rather than continuing its policy of forced participation in unions.



Well, sure, except the Dems and the Gummint Unions are one of a piece--and that piece is a parasite on the rest of us.
