You knew it was just a matter of time.
Families have been ripped off by banks, scammed by brokers and nothing’s done to them. It’s time for the families and the community to stand up and take back what’s theirs.
Okay, technically, none of it is theirs. Sure, they signed the papers, then didn't pay the bills. That means that "their" stuff belongs to the people who actually put up the cash. But it's just not fair.
Did a guy called "Buggsy" tell ya he was gonna ventilate ya if ya didn't sign?

Whoa!
What a comments thread.
Could it be, that our educated class is becoming aware of the infidelities of our political class?
After I went to your link, I almost posted "watch this incredible thread" at my place.
Yannow, the word "technically" is an interesting word. Sorta like,"legally."

Well, there might be a little problem, like, f'r'instance, say, the gas, the water, and the electricity have been turned off in these houses. Sure, you can tear out the framing for wood to build a fire to cook over, but then there's that other problem of a fireproof place to do that--less'n there's a fireplace with a real chimney. I mean, other than that, no sweat!

Actually, Sam - from what I've read, squatting in foreclosures is relatively common in the EU. It isn't especially difficult: propane and other fuels are readily available for camp-stoves and heaters. Water is available from a number of sources; poured into the toilet tank, you'll get a couple of flushes from a 5-gallon container.
TMI, the comments thread there is rather interesting; I'm glad you checked it out.
