Many companies in the USA have them, though they're especially prevalent in all levels of government. These are groups of well-intentioned little Socialists who sit around and "brainstorm" ways to make the company or the office more "sustainable". Unless their plans are enforced at gunpoint (such as by threat of termination of employment for failure to comply), however, they're more often than not unsuccessful. Here's a short but insightful look at why.
The founders of this country understood very well that people tend to rebel under the yoke of regulations and demand for unquestioning compliance, and so they instituted a form of government with defined limits. Leftists have sought for years to undermine it, with the well-intentioned, deluded Leftists believing that to do so would serve the greater good - while the malign brains behind the efforts do so with a firm understanding that it is in their best interests, and nobody else's. Throughout history, they have relied upon "useful idiots" to accomplish their ends.
