Now that he's nearly out of office, the guardians of the public trust over at The Zero are suddenly realizing that Portland mayor Sammy has never seen a tax or fee that he didn't want you to pay. The list they present is by no means exhaustive, and they note that he wasn't able to get every fee rammed home that he'd have liked you to pay, but the short list is impressive, nonetheless. And he still has a month and a half to go!
They should also run the numbers on Portland Councilor Randy Leonard's list of ratepayer diversions to pet projects, and his other scams. Compared to him, Sammy's a piker.
