Planners and politicians dream that one day this, too, will become a Portland - area reality:
The Zero and others are once again smearing the hicks for voting against light rail; they find it simply unbelievable that voters across Clackamas County soundly rejected funding rail - and even worse, the hicks in the heavily-gerrymandered Clark County/C-Tran district turned a serious thumbs-down on an operations proposal.
As usual, the Lefties are outraged that real people don't share their grand vision of pushing folks into stacked lab-rat cages and forcing them to ride around on streetcars and light rail. And they really don't want you to see the photos accompanying this article.
