Demonstrating once again that it is not only unnecessary but counterproductive to tax and regulate every perceived ill, electronics giant Panasonic has leapt to address the concerns of those who fear the dreaded carbon dioxide molecule; developing an artificial plant that uses CO2 in a photosynthetic process to produce benign or even useful organic products. In one planned scenario, they'd set up the machines near power plants in order to capture and convert any emitted CO2; ideally producing ethanol - this amounts to killing two birds with one stone, as it alleviates greenie concerns about carbon dioxide while reducing the need to convert food to "biofuel".
