New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez is a very interesting individual - a governor at 53 (and of a border state at that), Latina, and staunch Republican. Given that the popular meme among Leftists and the state media is that Republicans are old, angry white guys, bitterly clinging to their guns and their religion, a party of racist homophobic haters, Martinez defies the stereotype.
Even worse, she - like most Americans - wants border enforcement (and would greatly appreciate it if the illegal aliens already here would self-deport back to their home countries). She'd even like to see illegals forbidden to drive. You'd almost think she's an old white guy.
