A new luxury condo tower's planned for a prime spot overlooking the Hudson River in New York City, but it'll include 55 "affordable housing" apartments on five floors, all facing away from the river. Occupants of these units will also have a separate entrance to the building (located in an alley), along with a dedicated elevator and a separate maintenance company.
The "rich door" is to be located on the other side of the building, on Riverside drive, so they won't have to deal with the riff-raff. Their elevators will bypass the affordable housing floors as well, so it's all good.
No worries about "class warfare"; this is "class doorfare" - an entirely different thing altogether.
