Three days ago, The Oregonian published a lengthy and heartrending story about the tribulations of the illegal aliens in the little town of Woodburn, Oregon, where more than a quarter of the 25,000 residents are here illegally. Unsurprisingly, while the story plays well here in the Portland area, where Trump is largely hated while Clinton is revered, others have a less sympathetic view of the tale.
And speaking of Pantsuit, now that she's lost the election, she's suddenly "free to speak her mind" - as though she somehow never had that freedom before now. And she's talking about her loss, blaming it on American misogyny, the Russians, Wikileaks, James Comey, and in short, everything and everyone but herself. It doesn't seem to occur to her that we've been hearing her lie for three decades; she can't recall this, she can't recall that, Benghazi happened because of an obscure YouTube video, the "vast, right-wing conspiracy" and so much more. Her often-described temper tantrums, involving throwing things and berating others when things didn't go the way she hoped certainly didn't help, either. No, Mrs. Clinton, you lost because of who and what you are - not because of the Russians or American misogyny.
