Amusingly, Tuesday 21 July was the coldest day ever recorded in Nashville, Tennessee; the previous record-holder for the coldest day was in 1877. Since the lead prophet for the religion of man-made global warming lives in Nashville, that had to be kind of a mind-blower for the guy. The Goremeister has been beating this drum for the past two decades, and his track record is: wrong, every time.
That was bad enough for a Tuesday, but then it got worse on Friday, when this came out: Climate Change: A new scientific paper says that man has had little or nothing to do with global temperature variations.
Their research, published in the Journal of Geophysical Research, indicates that nature, not man, has been the dominant force in climate change in the late 20th century.
Wait a minute. Whatever happened to that "concensus" AlGore kept harping on? He keeps claiming that the debate is over, and the science is in!
Sharp Americans are starting to understand H.L. Mencken's observation that "The urge to save humanity is always a false front for the urge to rule it." That pretty much sums up the modern environmentalist movement.
