Not seeing much of it in the mainstream American media, but it looks like all hell has broken loose over there. The government denies that it instructed troops to shoot live ammo into protest groups, but... hard to say what to believe from that government. Protestors report several dead and others wounded - but in at least one case, the security forces have been overrun, judging from the photo. The only US media reporting the story, at this time, is the Wall Street Journal. It almost looks as though average Iranians harbor some strong disagreements with their government.
Looking at the photo, it's easy enough to visualize the military uniforms replaced by expensive suits that our Senators seem able to afford. This sort of reaction seems overdue in the USA.
