Chicago-style politics has just exploded in Obama's face again. And it's not coming from Republicans, but from his fellow Democrats. Pennsylvania Democrat Congressman Joe Sestak, challenging Arlen Specter for the Senate seat, has accused the White House of offering him a high-ranking job in the federal government, contingent upon his withdrawal from the race. This is the second case in five months in which the Obama White House has been accused of such conduct by fellow Democratics. Both cases involve violation of federal law and subject the violator to fine, imprisonment, or both.
I'll make you Secretary of the Navy if you drop out. If you don't drop out, I'll see that you get a pair of cement galoshes.
