The Obama administration has embarked upon a reeducation campaign as it seeks to garner some degree of public support for its massive entitlement program. A new survey released by the National Council on Aging concludes that most Seniors are misinformed and unaware of provisions in the Health Care Act, noting that 66% of Seniors erroneously believe that the Act will result in future cuts to their Medicare benefits.
Given, however, that the Act redirects some $575 billion from Medicare toward other aspects of the entitlement program, it seems clear that most Seniors understand the impact all too well.
The NCOA appears set upon an Orwellian path in which truth is untrue and untruth becomes true.
