U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan vowed on Tuesday that his department would work to make American children into "good environmental citizens" through federally subsidized school programs beginning as early as kindergarten that teach children about climate change and prepare them "to contribute to the workforce through green jobs."
His plan is to turn children into good environmental Psitticines, parroting back the mantra. This isn't education - it's indoctrination. The plan is nothing more than to grow a crop of next-generation vegetables, at taxpayer expense (of course); a generation of children with no critical thinking skills but who are thoroughly indoctrinated with the theology.
Separation of Church and state? "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . ."
Screw the First Amendment!
Arne wants kids to be indoctrinated with "green theology" from Kindergarten on through high school. And hey, it's not like Congress passed a law, or anything. He can do it because he's a bureaucrat, rather than a member of Congress. He's going to Save The Planet™ by indoctrinating all American children with his theology - and there ain't a thing you can do about it, aside from home-schooling. Even that's iffy - if you don't teach the theology, you may not comply with bureaucratic regulations.
