So-called "teachers" aren't doing their jobs. Not that they ever really have been, but now they're really blatant - they aren't showing up for work; preferring to take to the streets demanding their "rights".
Note to teacher: read the Constitution. This may come as a shock, but collective bargaining and union membership are not Rights.
Democrat representatives, of course, stalwart and hard-working folks elected to do the work of the people, have abandoned their jobs and fled to other states.
It's time for a major overhaul.
The so-called "teachers" need to be fired and replaced with folks who can actually do the job (even when "teachers" were "working", most of their students are unable to read, write, or perform basic math at grade level - though they "know" that Columbus was evil). The elected representatives who refuse to do their jobs need to be recalled.
Some folks refer to these approaches as harsh. They aren't. They're real. Welcome to the real world, Leftists.
HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- With each bill, newly elected tea party lawmakers are offering Montanans a vision of the future.
Their state would be a place where officials can ignore U.S. laws, force FBI agents to get a sheriff's OK before arresting anyone, ban abortions, limit sex education in schools and create armed citizen militias.
It's the tea party world. But not everyone is buying their vision.
Meanwhile, left essentially unreported is the fact that Barry Obama has decided that he can pick and choose which laws to uphold; contrary to the assertion in his oath of office. Somehow, that's okay, but Montana legislators are out of line.
Barry's health care law has been ruled unconstitutional, and the case still needs to be decided. But Barry doesn't care about that; he'll implement it anyway, because great scholar that he is, he believes that it should go forward. DOMA, on the other hand, has been ruled unconstitutional not by the courts, but by Barry himself - so they won't enforce that particular law.
This guy truly believes that he is the new Messiah.
Both believe that laws don't apply to them. Barry hasn't started killing people yet, but he's clearly violated his oath of office by deciding that he is the Supreme Court. He will decide which laws are constitutional, and therefore worthy of his oath to uphold. He isn't all that different from Momar, really.
While Americans are going hungry and cutting back, not because Michelle Obama told them to, but because they can’t afford it– the White House is throwing yet another party. This time to celebrate the cultural accomplishments of Motown complete with performances by trendy musicians.
It’s funny how the media breathlessly reports that Khaddafi spent 1 million dollars to fly in one singer or another for a performance, and yet the White House has flown in far more singers, at doubtlessly far greater expense to throw themselves a party.
All this might have been forgivable, if the big zero hadn’t been making constant noises about his commitment to cutting spending. If his first spouse hadn’t appointed herself Czar of America’s Kitchens, in between gorging during her constant vacationing.
We may not be in Libya yet, but we're heading in that direction. Hope'n'Change™, indeed.
It's been almost a year since Dawn Brancheau, 40, was killed when an orca, or killer whale, pulled her into a tank at SeaWorld. However, the legal battles and questions of killer whale care continue for the theme park. SeaWorld is fighting a $70,000 fine from OSHA, which handed the theme park one of the most serious of citations, accusing the park of recklessly exposing its employees to danger.
Only $70,000. At least we know how much OSHA values a life. Why should anybody who put the policies in place suffer?
According to a Rasmussen poll, 67% of Americans disapprove of flee-bagging. Not good news for Democrats. Not that it matters - they've run themselves straight into irrelevance.
Wisconsin just passed the Walker budget, and Democrats there are really honked.
The Tax Court yesterday denied business expense deductions claimed by a TV news anchor for her wardrobe and other personal expenses and sustained accuracy-related penalties. Hamper v. Commissioner, T.C. Summ. Op. 2011-17 (Feb. 25, 2011).
She claimed thousands of dollars as unreimbursed expenses, on clothing alone. [The court also denied her claimed deductions for business gifts, cable television, car expenses, cell phone, contact lenses, cosmetics, gym memberships, haircuts, Internet access, makeup, manicures, meals, self-defense classes, satellite radio, subscriptions to newspapers and magazines (Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Newsweek, and Nickelodeon), and teeth whitening.]
Oh, goody! How bi-partisan! Senator Jason Atkinson joins Gov. Retread in a "tele-town hall" regarding the critically important issue of banning BPA, which is right up there with Alar in terms of toxicity. What's next, banning plastic bags? Oh, wait....

It would be nice if they'd live down to their name and just move on.
Here's their latest plan:
Subject: Emergency Call to Action
We're helping lead an emergency call for rallies in every state capital this Saturday at noon to stand in solidarity with the workers of Wisconsin. Clicking below will add your name to the call for action, then you can help get the word out:
Dear MoveOn member,
Moments like these don't come along often.
Newly-elected Tea Party governor Scott Walker thought he could slash the Wisconsin state budget and dismantle 50 years of workers' rights without a fight, but boy was he wrong.
Hundreds of thousands of regular Wisconsinites—teachers, firefighters, police officers, students—have taken to the streets of Madison. They've occupied the capitol building for the last 7 days and nights.
But this isn't just about Wisconsin. In state capitals across the country, and in Washington, D.C., Republicans are using the wrecked economy as an excuse to slash vital programs and hurt workers. The American Dream itself is under attack.
So we're helping lead an emergency call for rallies in every state capital this Saturday at noon to support folks in Wisconsin and oppose these attacks, wherever they occur.
We have only 4 days to organize, so we're trying something unusual—asking thousands of individuals and local groups to add their names to this call to action. Will you share the call with your personal network—plus get any groups you're part of to sign on? Clicking here will add your name:
Start getting the word out about this Saturday's rallies
We're finalizing the details and we'll get back to you to sign up soon, but we have to start spreading the word right now if Saturday is going to be huge.
Here's the call to action: 50-State Mobilization to Save the American Dream Calling all students, teachers, union members, workers, patriots, public servants, unemployed folks, progressives, and people of conscience:
In Wisconsin and around our country, the American Dream is under fierce attack. Instead of creating jobs, Republicans are giving tax breaks to corporations and the very rich, and then cutting funding for education, police, emergency response and vital human services. The right to organize is on the chopping block. The American Dream is slipping out of reach for more and more Americans, and we have to fight back.
We call for emergency rallies in front of every statehouse this Saturday at noon to stand in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin. Demand an end to the attacks on workers' rights and public services across the country. Demand investment, to create decent jobs for the millions of people who desperately want to work. And demand that the rich and powerful pay their fair share.
We are all Wisconsin.
We are all Americans.
As usual, they have it completely backwards: Newly-elected Tea Party governor Scott Walker thought he could slash the Wisconsin state budget and dismantle 50 years of workers' rights without a fight, but boy was he wrong. The idiots don't seem to understand the salient issues: Walker is not trying to slash the budget - the budget is $3 billion in the red and the state cannot run a deficit (unlike the feds). One big part of the problem: public employee unions. These fools claim to be "rallying to save the American dream", when what they'll be "rallying" for is the "right" to continue to rape the American taxpayer.
Aren't public employee unions like SEIU just wonderful?
Yeah.
I think I know what I think.
Update:
1. Do you believe that Wisconsin's governor is correct in regard to his effort to curtail the effects of public employee unions on the economy of his state?

3. Collective bargaining is a human right. As such, it cannot be denied to public employees.
BEIJING - "The riots are expanding even into North Korea. Hundreds of protesters have collided with the authorities," said South Korea's largest-selling Chosun Ilbo newspaper on Thursday, as top news on its website. Now finally, the global cascade of "Jasmine revolutions" in the Middle East and North Africa appears to have entered North Korea.
Kim Jung Ill and his chosen son Fatty Ill are really in a bad place at the moment: it comes at a time of the year when they've abandoned their annual saber-rattling in order to embark upon their annual "begging for food" drive. Kim and Fatty need to load up their larders, after all.
