The Zero has a story about Pacific Power's reliance upon that nasty coal stuff to produce electric power. Moonbats are having fun with it:
You are all crazy republicans. Can you never use your common sense. Coal is a filthy, carcinogenic energy use. It needs to be phased out. The sooner the better.
Gotta love 'em, bless their pointy little heads. But golly, coal just keeps looking better and better - particularly in view of the fact that folks in Japan are now peeing radioactive urine.
From Japan Times:
More than 3 millisieverts of radiation has been measured in the urine of 15 Fukushima residents of the village of Iitate and the town of Kawamata, confirming internal radiation exposure, it was learned Sunday.
Both are about 30 to 40 km from the Fukushima No. 1 power plant, which has been releasing radioactive material into the environment since the week of March 11, when the quake and tsunami caused core meltdowns.
Of course, over there in Nebraska, nukes are running into trouble because of plain old flooding. And on a slightly different note, wildfire in Arizona seems to be causing some disturbance around the Los Alamos lab, where the world's first atomic bomb was assembled.
