Two sources with knowledge of Portland Mayor Sam Adams' plans tell WW that Adams will announce today that he is not seeking re-election.WW has also learned that a recent poll paid for by unions shows Adams doing very poorly against the two major candidates, former City Councilor Charlie Hales and New Seasons grocery chain co-founder Eileen Brady, and that was a major factor in his decision not to run.
