Actress Daryl Hannah was arrested Tuesday near the White House while protesting the proposed Keystone oil pipeline.
“Sometimes it's necessary to sacrifice your freedom for a greater freedom,” Hannah said, according to an NBC Washington report. “And we want to be free from the horrible death and destruction that fossil fuels cause, and have a clean energy future.”
Like Meryl Streep (only with less acting talent), Hannah is an ignorant boob. Streep testified emotionally about the horrors of Alar, only to have it subsequently emerge that the stuff is harmless - but useful as a a plant growth regulator. The lab tests that prompted the scare required an amount of Alar equal to over 5,000 gallons (20,000 L) of apple juice per day.
Now, Hannah's nattering on about horrible death and destruction that fossil fuels cause, when in point of fact, she's so stupid that she can't even tell what a fossil fuel is. She thinks it's oil and natural gas.
