According to Jeff Mapes, over at The Zero:
Brad Avakian has devoted most of the working day to his campaign for Congress during recent months and less to his job as Oregon’s labor commissioner, his official calendar shows.
The state labor commissioner's job pays $72,000 a year.
His calendar shows that more than 70 percent of his hours during the working day were devoted to campaign functions from July 1 to Aug. 24, the latest period covered by the material obtained by The Oregonian under the state's Public Records Act.
Obviously, this guy should be a shoo-in for Davey Wu's former slot in Congress. Naturally, he claims that he continues to remain "closely involved" in his labor commissioner job.
