Parts of Arizona's SB1070 law were suspended by the US 9th Circus, and it's now before the US Supreme Court and as predicted, they're taking a dim view of Barry's administration - even the Wise Latina™ is firing off some pointed questions; Justice Kagan has reasonably recused herself from the case. Not that it especially matters: the parts left intact have done a remarkable job of encouraging self-deportation, with a concommittant drop in crime, prison populations, and increased funding for social safety nets in the state.
Still, it's not looking promising for Team Barry - and unsurprisingly, Democrats are already grumbling threats:
Senate Democrats are making plans to force a floor vote on legislation that would invalidate Arizona’s controversial immigration statute if the Supreme Court upholds the law this summer.
