Having brought financial ruin to about one-third of Americans through his Obamacare fiasco - which has achieved almost legendary status - there is a second, albeit widely underreported poison being spread by the Obamani: "green power". Apart from the billions of dollars wasted on companies that promise great things but fail to deliver, the environmental cost has become so devastating that even the Associated Press is now reporting on some of it:
CORYDON, Iowa (AP) — The hills of southern Iowa bear the scars of America's push for green energy: The brown gashes where rain has washed away the soil. The polluted streams that dump fertilizer into the water supply.
Five million acres of land set aside for conservation — more than Yellowstone, Everglades and Yosemite National Parks combined — have vanished on Obama's watch.
The AP article is surprisingly well researched, although it focuses purely upon the ethanol component of Barry's "green energy" push - much to the dismay of the biofools lobby. One may hope that they eventually get around to examining "wind power" (which kills at minimum 60,000 beneficial bats each year, in addition to various protected avian species) to a similar degree.
