A Burger King in Ephrata, Wash., recently posted the words "Now Hiring Must be Mexican" on its sign.
As has been noted here on a number of occasions in the past, "celebrating diversity" is nothing more than thinly disguised, institutionalized racism; the exact opposite of the goals elaborated in Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famed "I Have A Dream" speech. Now, it's becoming increasingly blatant.
The sign and story are here; apparently, some people still have a problem with it. "Booger King?"
Oddly, the little town of 7600 seems an unlikely spot for such attitude; the median income there is only $37,600, yet it has the fastest internet speeds in the country. It seems unattractive for populations of mexican aliens or immigrants, located in the netherlands of eastern Washington. Weirdness abounds.
