Cinnamon rolls Norsk (nynorsk): Heimelaga kanelbollar
The EU has decided that too much cinnamon is bad for health, and so they're banning things like cinnamon rolls; precipitating an uproar in Denmark, where the rolls are hugely popular. The controversy has spread clear into Britain, which has basically told the EU to get stuffed:
"An average person would have to eat so many Danish pastries in order to be effected, they would certainly die of obesity before being hurt by a low level of cinnamon," said Paul Nuttall, the deputy leader of Ukip.
"We don't need the nanny state or the EU to tell us what do and certainly not how many Danish pastries we should eat for Christmas."
For once, it appears that a dose of common sense has found its way into (formerly Great) Britain.
