Porklanders know that it's all about density; it's not only the way of the future, but we serve as a National Model by virtue of having some of the densest politicians on the planet. That's all well and good, but their stack'n'pack model has long been constrained in one regard: the need for elevators.
That may be about to change, as maglev elevators begin testing in about a year or so.
This looks pretty cool, as the technology should offer many more ways to get stuck when the power goes out than are currently available.
