An armored truck, two SUVs, a pickup truck, and a thousand chickens were involved in a major wreck on I-5 at the North Fork of the Lewis River in Washington, late yesterday afternoon, after a dog ran into the roadway and drivers swerved to avoid it. Most of the vehicles were pinned between the guard rail and the chicken truck, and some 50-60 chickens briefly made a run for it but were rounded up by "chicken wranglers" at the scene.
The local hazmat team was called out because some of the vehicles were leaking diesel, and some of the people were transported to Vacouver hospitals. The dog was also recovered and returned to his owners.
