The dirtbag "mother" has been deported from Mexico back to the USA, and presumably will be transported from L.A. back to Ft. Worth to face her felony charges. The primary dirtbag unfortunately remains in Mexico, having been transferred from Guadalajara's jail to Mexico City's. "Daddy" has hired some Mexican lawyers - and likely found it easy enough to bribe a judge down there:
The ruling by the Mexican court could lead to a weeks-long legal process if a judge decides the younger Couch has grounds to challenge his deportation based on arguments that kicking him out of the country would violate his rights. The judge has three days to consider Couch's appeal.
The sad thing is that since they were able to get the kid tried as a juvenile, he gets no jail time in Texas apart from juvie lockup. Killing four people and paralyzing a fifth, and the only thing close to real punishment that he gets is spending time in a Mexican jail. What a winner.
