After getting into a scuffle with U.S. Marshals following the conclusion of the Bundy gang trial last month, Ammon Bundy's attorney now finds himself facing charges, so he'll have to appear before a judge in U.S. District Court here in Portland on January 6 - 9 a.m. sharp, Mumbles.
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A federal violation notice was filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court against the attorney representing Ammon Bundy who struggled with the U.S. Marshals Service after a not guilty verdict was announced in the courtroom.
Marcus Mumford is accused of impeding or disrupting the performance of official duties of government employees.
Mumbles was upset because his client, though found not guilty in the Portland proceedings, wasn't turned loose due to a pending trial in Nevada involving other federal charges. Mumbles devolved into yelling and flailing as he attempted to fight off the Marshals. This comes under the heading of Not A Good Idea.
