Just got a text - my portions of Crowd Cow arrive tomorrow via FedEx. It seemed like an interesting approach, so I'm trying it out.
The cattle are raised in Brewster, Washington. Grass-fed, no hormones or antibiotics. They are fed corn grown on the property as well, for a month or so before they become beef.
As noted, it seemed interesting. It sure isn't cheap, you can buy feedlot beef at Safeway for less. I'm going with sustainable this time around. Though I'm pretty sure they still fart a lot, so Mann-made Global Warming is still in effect.
I'll be cooking on the propane infrared grill, contributing further to "Climate Change".
