(Meredith) – A 4-year-old Texas girl named Olivia died after her mother allegedly failed to call 911 because her cellphone was “low on minutes.”
Right. One little problem there - 911 calls don't lower the time balance on your cell phone.
A San Antonio mother who said she couldn't explain the severe head trauma that preceded her daughter's death has been arrested on suspicion of causing the child's injuries.
Cause of death is still under investigation, but if convicted of injuring the child, 34 year-old Jessica Briones is looking at 99 years in prison. If, as suspected, she caused the death, she could face execution. It's Texas, you know.
Get a rope.
