There's quite a bit of snow and ice around the U.K. at present, although there wasn't any on the roof of one home in Keighley - odd, since the roofs of all of the other homes bore the stuff. Suspicious coppers forced entry into the place and discovered:
Um. Yes, that's illegal over there. As a matter of fact, growing dope in that quantity (322 plants) is illegal even here in Oregon, unless you're licensed by the OLCC to grow for the dispensaries. Unsurprisingly, the heat from their grow-op gave them away, as they hadn't thought to insulate the ceilings.
‘Hmmm, I wonder why there is no snow on your roof? 280+ plants seized from an address in Keighley today, some nearly 6ft tall with @WYP-PCSO143 @CravenWard49 #policingkeighley.’
I say, old bean, it does seem rather a stupid approach to running a grow-op; around here, they used to do it in warehouse spaces - which at least have good drainage.
