Wheeler County, Oregon is a sparsely populated area in the north-central part of the state, and the only law enforcement out there has been the sheriff and his deputies - and they're all leaving.
That means the entire law enforcement community in the county of 1,500 people and 1,700 square miles is headed out the door.
Apart from stocking up on ammunition, it's hard to see what the residents will be able to do absent law enforcement staff. Yee haw!
