A federal judge on Thursday “tentatively” blamed poor maintenance of power lines and not human-caused “climate change” on California’s recent deadly wildfires. U.S. District Judge William Alsup issued his ruling regarding the actions of the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) utility company in a case related to PG&E’s response to the deadly 2010 San Bruno gas pipeline explosion that killed a number of people.
But scores of liberals in California and beyond have blamed human-caused climate change for the wildfires.
Because of course they do.
Anything to advance the narrative. They're just bright enough to have realized that they can't gain control over (and tax and fee) people unless they take every opportunity to scare them. Never mind that the forests and other wildlands have been mismanaged for years because "green&sustainable". Certainly, their decades-old pursuit of law-fare to prevent thinning and brush removal has nothing to do with the wildfires - nope, that's due to "man-made global warming" - which people living from the Mid-West to the East Coast might prefer about now.
Out here, the Indians did controlled small burns for hundreds of years, and it worked really well for them.
Today, thanks to enviros, it doesn't take much to start an inferno.
But at least they feel good about themselves, which is all that counts.
