A senior Justice Department official stepped down after investigators caught the official lying about watching porn on government-issued computers, an internal watchdog found. An investigation by the Justice Department inspector general revealed a former deputy assistant attorney general had used government-issued computers to visit multiple pornographic websites.
I don't know about D.C., but around Portland there are a few movie houses that show nothing but porn; if that's your thing, there's no excuse for using government equipment to view the stuff.
Last year, investigators found a U.S. Geological Survey employee had inadvertently infected his office’s networks with Russian malware after visiting more than 9,000 different porn sites over a seven month period. Over the last 15 years, similar scandals have enveloped the Environmental Protection Agency, Securities and Exchange Commission and IRS.
If these folks have time to do that sort of thing, then we have way too many government employees in the USA.
Gee, I wonder what gave him away - was it the wastebasket full of used tissues? Those guys are really stupid; even I can read computer footprints! Makes me look like a freaking genius by comparison. I'd almost bet cash money that these clowns were lifer bureaucrats who thought they were untouchable.
