These are the congressional districts, at present. The areas in pretty colors are largely controlled by (recently arrived) Democratics and Leftists (but I repeat myself). The big brown area is much more sparsely populated, and mainly (with the exception of Hood River, which is more or less a bedroom community of Portland) conservative, long-time, actual Oregonians. By rights, the state should be split into two: Oregon, and West Oregon.
