Florida, Arizona, and Texas took top honors last week, with COVID-19 cases increasing by 25%. Twenty-five U.S. states reported more new cases last week than the previous week, including 10 states that saw weekly new infections rise more than 50%, and 12 states that posted new records, according to the analysis of data from The COVID Tracking Project, a volunteer-run effort to track the outbreak.
Well, that's certainly discouraging; guess that's why Oregon has announced that they're backing off the grand re-opening plan. Portland's going to have to blow off the Rose Festival, too.
