Two Kentucky residents were indicted Monday for sexual crimes against an animal, according to Attorney General Daniel Cameron.
This is Kentucky's first indictment of bestiality since the act was outlawed in 2019.
Apparently, this sort of thing was considered to be normal behavior until recently. Now I've got the "Deliverance" movie playing in my head....

LONGVIEW, Wash. (AP) — A 70-year-old man convicted of multiple child sex offenses died Friday in a Washington state prison after he was beaten by multiple inmates. The Daily News reported that Robert Munger was serving his 43-year prison sentence at Airway Heights Corrections Center in Spokane County when he was attacked.
Presumably, Satan is cranking up the ol' thermostat down there in order to properly greet Bob.

Portsmouth, Virginia - After beheading and cutting the fingers off the statue, Black Lives Matter protesters pulled it down. That’s when it landed it on a fellow rioter’s head, cracking his skull open. A local Black Lives Matter leader recounted the incident: “When the statue finally did give way, it fully hit him in the head. We could see that his skull was actually showing. He lost a great amount of blood.”
Fortunately, it appears that no critical organs were damaged.
But his rioting days are pretty well over.

In a rarity, the Supreme Court has issued a unanimous ruling in upholding a U.S. law that bars people from actively encouraging illegal immigrants to remain inside the country. All nine justices on Thursday overturned a ruling by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals which had said a federal anti-harboring statute was unconstitutional because it allegedly violated the First Amendment’s free speech guarantee.
In upholding the U.S. law, the high court also chastised the 9th Circuit judges for “drastically” veering from established judicial norms. And interestingly, the decision was written by one of the high court’s most liberal members, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

A woman, her adult son and husband have been charged in the fatal shooting of a security guard who refused to let her daughter enter a Family Dollar in Michigan because she wasn’t wearing a face mask to protect against transmission of the coronavirus. Calvin Munerlyn was shot Friday at the store just north of downtown Flint a short time after telling Sharmel Teague’s daughter she had to leave because she lacked a mask, according to Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.
Well, yeah - shooting a man for doing his job is the only reasonable thing to do.

Yes, that's pretty much how I feel about it. The media-fueled paranoia demonstrated by some people doesn't impact my freedom to not purchase, much less wear, a mask product. But then, I'm not a lemming.

Wearing pants has become optional for some people holed up indoors while obeying the stay-at-home order. A police department in a northern Maryland town is reminding residents that's not an option when they go outside.
The Taneytown Police Department left a message on its Facebook page Wednesday morning telling residents to put their pants on when they leave their homes.
“Please remember to put pants on before leaving the house to check your mailbox. You know who you are. This is your final warning,” the post said.
