The popular Distracted Boyfriend meme, based on a photo of a man turning away from his outraged girlfriend to stare admiringly at another woman, has been ruled sexist by Sweden’s advertising ombudsman.
Okay, whatever. Seems like people are a little quick to get all offended, these days.

Melinda Gates has decided to enter the venture capital world by sending her money to people based at least partly on their sex and skin color, she said in a recent Fortune interview. Gates specifically says some criteria for how she invests in startups are race and sex. She clearly says she preferences women and non-whites over men and white people, specifically for these immutable characteristics that have nothing inherently to do with business success.

Portland’s iconic feminist bookstore, In Other Words, has announced it’s closing at the end of June. The space on Northeast Killingsworth has been open for 25 years. “This isn’t sustainable, especially emotionally, for the people who come here and work to provide this space as a resource to Portland Feminist communities,” the store said in its announcement.
Unsurprisingly, the shop gained fame via the Portlandia TV series, but severed the relationship a couple of years ago because the owners hate capitalism, white supremacy, and the patriarchy. Whatever floats - or sinks - your boat, girls.

Looks like they managed to abolish themselves. Works for me.

Twice when trying to go down a flight of stairs, then allegedly once in a bathtub, where she supposedly fractured her wrist.
I don't believe the latter.
You know that the whole "she fell getting out of the tub" story is complete malarkey...if Hillary ever got wet, she would sizzle, smoke, and melt away: "What a world, what a world!"
And she thinks that she was the rightful heir to the presidency. Must've wanted to steal more dishes and silverware...we dodged a bullet in that election.

Reed criticized Clinton for saying that she won all the areas in the country with high gross domestic product, but also zeroed in on her comments that Trump won areas inhabited by voters who don’t “like black people getting rights” and “don’t like women getting jobs.”
She doesn't seem to understand that the people she disparages just don't like her, and so she lost. Again.
Even the dead people didn't vote for her. She won the popular vote in places like California, but lost where it counted: the electoral vote.

She does some sort of "gender research" stuff at Stanford, and seems to be really perturbed over the injustice of not having a wiener herself. She's really ticked. It turns out that the only reason why guys want to settle the planet Mars is because they have wieners and so they're all about "the patriarchy" and building Martian settlements is just another example "male entitlement" and since she doesn't have a wiener she's superior to you and you should feel bad.
There was a time when universities turned out intelligent people rather than buckets of mush.

It was obvious to some of us that Al Franken was expecting that Roy Moore would win the Senate run down in Alabaama, where men are men and sheep are nervous, but that didn't happen: Moore lost, and that means that Al lost as well. Had Moore won, Al could then have revoked his resignation, based upon the "Everybody Does It" rule. One of the most interesting aspects to all of this is the simple fact that in most of these cases, lives are ruined over mere allegations (although in Al's case, there's photographic evidence). No charges brought, no trials, no convictions, but none of that seems to matter today.
This is known as mob rule - or as the Founders of this country recognized, pure democracy.

It's why they gave us a Republic instead, which it seems we could not keep.

88 year-old Rep. John Conyers is in a hospital today, as stress brought about by revelations of his malfeasance has reportedly become too much to bear. Nanny Pelosi, who recently referred to Conyers as "an icon", has now called for him to resign. So did Paul Ryan. How about that? Members of the two parties can come to agreement when necessary.
And Al Franken now has an accuser for each finger of his grope-hand, as a fifth woman has stepped up to join the parade.
It seems to be the turn of Democratics; it was in the late 1980s when Oregon Republican Senator Bob Packwood resigned over similar behavior. Wonder what Bob's doing, these days....

The woman who thinks she's funny is mighty upset, claiming that she's now on a "Hollywood blacklist" since she did that hysterically funny photo in which she held what appeared to be the severed head of Trump.
She says in a YouTube video that when she returns to the U.S. she doesn’t have “one single day of paid work” scheduled. She says she doesn’t want to do free shows or work small clubs and thinks she should be able to get her life back.
Griffin says the Trump photo “offended a lot of people,” but added: “this wall of crap has never fallen on any woman in the history of America like it has on me.”
Poor Kathy. She may have to go back to trying to find work on the club circuit. You should feel sorry for her.

WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton, who grapples with her second failed presidential run in a new memoir to be published Tuesday, said on Sunday that she does not plan on running again for public office.
“I am done with being a candidate,” she said in an interview on CBS’s “Sunday Morning.”
With any luck, perhaps it will one day occur to her that most of us don't really give a rip about her opinions, either. Or her daughter's, for that matter.
