A Fresno State "professor" took to social media in the hour following yesterday's news of the death of Barbara Bush to spew some extraordinarily vile vomit, even for a Left-wing loon.
Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar provoked the most controversy of all after she went into a sickening rant against Bush, saying, “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. Fuck outta here with your nice words.”
“PSA: either you are against these pieces of s— and their genocidal ways or you’re part of the problem. That’s actually how simple this is. I’m happy the witch is dead. Can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have,” Jarrar wrote, cruelly adding that she was happy “George W. Bush is probably really sad right now.”
“I work as a tenured professor. I make 100K a year doing that. I will never be fired. I will always have people wanting to hear what I have to say,” she wrote on Twitter.
This all prompted sort of a response from the president of Fresno State.
Conservatives are routinely attacked and shut down by leftists on college campii, but when it happens to the leftists themselves, they turn tail and run.
(CNN)A Drexel University professor who received death threats after posting several controversial tweets said Thursday he is resigning because the year-long harassment has made his situation "unsustainable."
The punk perfesser maintains that "We are at war". Possibly, but let's get real, here: who started and pushed the war? It sure wasn't conservatives. It was the nutty perfessers, who actually should never be allowed anywhere near the kids they work so hard to indoctrinate.
'Bye, perfesser. One down, many more to go.
I'm looking forward to the trial of that little dipstick Berkeley former perfesser who assaulted a guy with a bike-lock, causing major bodily harm, then ran away. That's how they operate. The trial should be great; he never thought he'd be identified.
A Boston University theater professor claims the Christmas carol has a “problematic history” because it was originally performed to make fun of African Americans.
Jingle Bells is racist, White Christmas is racist, Baby it’s Cold Outside is sexist. What the hell happend to the America I grew up in where people didn’t wake up every day trying to find something to be offended by? - Richard C. Hendry
As Mel Gibson observed, they couldn't make "Blazing Saddles" today. Of course, that perfesser couldn't land a job in the real world today, either.
She is, in fact, a prime example of why women were not initially allowed to vote.
Football fans had better hope the NFL doesn't find out; players will have to take a knee whenever the carol's played.
A Pakistani boy hopes to hit the big screen by showcasing his odd talent: he can turn his head nearly 180 degrees. It does look sort of demonic.
Here in the USA, more than half of millennials believe that astrology is a science, whereas only 8% of Chinese their age believe it. And people wonder why we're falling behind. The "psychic services industry" is now bringing in some $2 billion per year.
The majority of Americans now believe it is not necessary to believe in God to have good morals, a study from Pew Research Center released Wednesday found.
The occult is especially popular among 20-something New Yorkers.
And Harvard this week is holding its annual perversion week, offering such "classes" as "Anal Sex 101", "Kink 101", and "Broadening Your Porn Horizons".
Where they're going to get the cash is anybody's guess:
Professor Bret Weinstein, a leftist, refused to participate in the evacuation of white people (only) from the campus of Evergreen State College and sued the college for the hostile work environment he alleged that he and his wife subsequently suffered. Without admitting that charge, the state-supported institution that already faces a $2.1 million deficit and layoffs, is going to cough up a cool half million bucks to avoid the expense, spectacle, and risk of a jury trial.
Evergreen, located in Olympia, Washington, needs to be defunded because the administration constantly caves to "student" radicals rather than enforcing conduct codes and kicking the troublemakers to the curb. Taxpayers needn't continue to pay for a "social justice warrior" haven, and the "settlement" should be coming out of admin's paychecks.
By contrast, the administration at Berkeley finally grew a spine, and Ben Shapiro's talk went off without a hitch. That'd be because the cops were permitted to do their jobs without encumbrance, and the so-called "Antifa" crowd ran into a "no masks, no weapons" rule. As might be expected, they turned tail and ran.
I don't know anything about Shapiro, apart from the fact that he's a Jew, but he seems to make some good points in this excerpt from his talk.
You may recall that the "student" mobs at the college in Olympia, Washington went full-blown nuts a few weeks back. They were full of stuff about "microaggressions" and demands for "safe spaces" and wanted all white people off the campus.
They demanded "respect", but you can see how much they offered others. The local police chief advised a white perfesser to leave campus due to the unsafe environment there, as so-called "administrators" kow-towed to the mob.
Now Bret Weinstein, the professor at the center of this episode, is filing a $3.8 million tort claim against the school on behalf his wife and himself, saying in part that The Evergreen State College (TESC) "consistently has failed to set and enforce necessary boundaries in the workplace on campus, selectively has chosen not to enforce its student Code of Conduct, and sent the unmistakable message that the school will tolerate (and even endorse) egregious violations (and even crimes) purportedly to advance racial social goals, diminishing the collegiate experience for all, and fostering a racially hostile and retaliatory work environment for faculty and staff."
This is not good news for TESC, which is already facing legislative efforts to defund it. Indeed, why should taxpayer dollars be used to fund a "social justice college" that willingly promotes racism and violence? University of Missouri took much the same approach as TESC a couple of years ago. The result: a 35% drop in enrollment and budget cuts that eliminated 400 staff positions.
Poor little Melissa had two jobs at Mizzou. She resigned from one and was fired from the other.
Former University of Missouri professor Melissa Click has landed a new job nearly 1,600 miles away in Spokane, Wash, according to Gonzaga University's website.
Click was fired from her position as an assistant professor of communications in February, and her appeal of the decision was denied in March. She achieved national attention after video footage of her assaulting a student journalist went viral. Later, video emerged of her yelling profanities at a police officer.
Click was hired for a one-year, non-tenure track position as a lecturer in the university’s communication studies department, Mermann-Jowiak told the newspaper.
Well, that was a year ago. So she must be job-hunting again. What an interesting piece of work. And you wonder why today's college-aged kids are so screwed up?
He was a So-So-Ology Perfesser at University of Tampa. "Was" now being the operative term. He went onto a media platform (Twitter) and announced that Texas residents deserve the death, destruction and suffering caused by Hurricane Harvey because a majority of Texas voters supported Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
He apparently believed that they should have gone with the serial lying harridan instead.
He deleted his posts and apologized, but that was insufficient; the internet never forgets. And in a rare burst of sanity from an institution of higher vegetation, he's out of a job.
That university costs $39,000 a year to attend. Four years there, you could probably buy a house for that kind of money. At least in Florida.
Or at least rent a place in an assisted-living complex.
Who pays that kind of money to take a sociology class from a certified loon? Future government employees?
When I was in college, I took classes might be beneficial. So-so-ology wasn't among them.
Adjunct anthropology professor Katherine Dettwyler received widespread criticism on Friday for her online posts regarding the death of Otto Warmbier.
The University of Delaware perfesser stated in online posts that Warmbier acted like a “spoiled, naive, arrogant, US college student,” claiming that the student got “exactly what he deserved.” As you may recall, he died a week after being released by the NorKs, at age 21. Kathy went on to blame Otto's parents for raising a spoiled brat, and yadda yadda.
And yesterday, Kathy got exactly what she deserved.
College costs over the past generation have escalated at twice the rate of inflation. That's not because professors are getting rich. It's because administrators have multiplied like bunnies. They don't serve students; rather, students serve them.
For all this money, colleges turn out graduates who don't know when the War of 1812 occurred or who is buried in Grant's Tomb.
I'm exaggerating but not much. A recent survey found that 80 percent of Americans think food containing DNA (which would include all food made from animals or plants) should be specially labeled as such. And a significant percentage think that chocolate milk comes from brown cows.
The problem here is that there is a significant difference between thinking and believing, and in many cases, colleges are turning out "graduates" who excel at the latter, but not the former. This is why I refer to them as institutions of higher vegetation. Their "students" can't, in many cases, think. But they're good at regurgitation.
If you're a recent college grad, you may want to look that last word up.
OAKLAND —- A former Diablo Valley College professor accused of assaulting several people with a heavy bike lock at a pro-Trump rally last month in Berkeley pleaded not guilty Friday afternoon to felony charges. Eric Clanton, 28, was charged with four counts of felony assault with enhancements alleging that he caused great bodily injury. He also was charged with wearing a mask during commission of a crime, a misdemeanor. Clanton has been in jail in lieu of $200,000 bail since his arrest Wednesday in connection with the April incident, which occurred during protests at Civic Center Park on Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
Police confirmed Clanton can be seen in videos hitting people in the head with a U-shaped bicycle lock; three of them sustained “significant injuries,” police said.
Homicide detectives handled the investigation because of the seriousness of the assaults, police said. Clanton was taken into custody without incident Wednesday at an unspecified Oakland location; investigators also had a warrant for an unspecified San Leandro address. During a search at the Oakland address, detectives recovered evidence associating Clanton with anti-Fascist and anarchist political groups.
Again, one can be educated and still be a violent idiot. It's good for this guy to be in lockup rather than on the streets or "working" as a college perfesser. Everybody's safer with him behind bars and unable to poison college kids' brains with his "philosophy". Especially nice is that his violence was caught in several videos. That fool can plead not guilty all day long, but he's still bound for prison. The little wienie's going to have a fine time with Ben Dover and Bubba.
